[PAST EVENT] Student Assembly Elections MANDATORY Info Session (Class of 2024, Class of 2023, Class of 2021)

Fall 2020 elections for Student Assembly are happening! Are you interested in becoming part of the Student Assembly Senate and student governance at W&M?

Available positions include: TWO Class Senator positions for the Class of 2021; ONE Class Senator position for the Class of 2023; and ALL positions for the Class of 2024 (one President and 4 Senators). Monday, August 24th at 5:30pm

Thursday, August 27th at 5:30pm

Tuesday, September 1st at 2pm

Wednesday, September 2nd at 1:00pm

Elections will take place on Thursday, September 17th, 2020. But interested candidates must attend a mandatory info session and declare their candidacy by September 3rd, 2020. The campaigning period will take place between September 5th-17th.

These info sessions are designed to give a brief overview of the timeline of the elections process as well as the rules for running a campaign. These info sessions are mandatory for anyone interested in running for Student Assembly, so if a student does not attend they will be ineligible to run for office.
