Fall 2020 elections for Student Assembly are happening! Are you interested in becoming part of the Student Assembly Senate and student governance at W&M?

Available positions include: TWO Class Senator positions for the Class of 2021; ONE Class Senator position for the Class of 2023; and ALL positions for the Class of 2024 (one President and 4 Senators). Tuesday, September 1st at 2pm

Wednesday, September 2nd at 1:00pm


Elections will take place on Thursday, September 17th, 2020. But interested candidates must attend a mandatory info session and declare their candidacy by September 3rd, 2020. The campaigning period will take place between September 5th-17th.

These info sessions are designed to give a brief overview of the timeline of the elections process as well as the rules for running a campaign. These info sessions are mandatory for anyone interested in running for Student Assembly, so if a student does not attend they will be ineligible to run for office.
