Access & Features
  • Free food
  • Open to the public

Welcome to campus! The members of The National Organization for Women will be hosting a movie night and would love for you to attend (females, males, non-binaries, ANYONE can attend). We will decide on a film to watch through a vote because this is a democracy. During the film, we will stop it periodically to point out how we, as feminists, can critically critique the film. Discussing how film and media depicts social norms is important to educating yourself and others on how society has created constructions of gender, objectified women, invented a hierarchical structure for race, defined how and who to love, and much more.

At this event, there will be popcorn and assorted candy. Please bring your own drink and an open mind. :) You can find the event and like us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/NOWWilliamandMary/
