William & Mary undergraduate students may apply to participate in the ?Women in Economic Research (WiER)? conference held at Williams College on April 20, 2019. Students who present health policy research at the WiER conference are eligible to seek travel assistance (transportation, meals, and hotel accommodations) from William & Mary?s Schroeder Center for Health Policy. The WiER conference includes a full day of research presentations by undergraduate students, a keynote address by economist Jennifer Doleac, and mentoring and networking opportunities.

To be eligible for the Schroeder Center?s travel assistance support, William & Mary students must apply and be accepted to present health policy research at the WiER conference (click here for information about the conference and application guidelines). The deadline to apply to the conference is March 8, 2019. Once accepted as a conference presenter, please contact Professor Jennifer Mellor (jmmell@wm.edu), Director of the Schroeder Center, to inquire about travel assistance eligibility and guidelines.
