Decades of research have identified school-level variables that are related to student learning. School leaders have the ability to directly influence some of these variables and have a positive impact on achievement. Among these variables, Collective Teacher Efficacy (CTE) has the most powerful effect on student achievement. This session reveals the intricacies of CTE and suggests way school leaders can help develop a culture of CTE in their schools.
