Building the Narrative of Systemic Change: From Invention to Implementation

We believe students need opportunities to explore their passions, work on real-world projects, and collaborate and learn from other students of all ages. This is grounded in the idea that education must be for life and school needs to stop getting in the way of learners’ and teachers’ curiosity, This approach, however, doesn’t happen by chance. Pam Moran and Ira Socol will share a concrete logic model and lead discussion into deeper learning that enables administrators and teachers to identify a direct path from dreaming innovation to making ideas real for learners. They will share a protocol that moves a team through a process of rapid prototyping small steps that can lead to a big change in practice. Participants will share a “what if” dream with colleagues and think invention and implementation together.

Aligned with all 5Cs.
