Hearth: Memorial to the Enslaved is just the beginning of William & Mary’s long road toward reconciliation and repair. During the talk, we will reflect on the experiences of African Americans at W&M and talk about the bridge-building work of the university’s Lemon Project. This seated event will be held outdoors at the Hearth Memorial. Speakers include Barbara L. Johnson J.D. '84, Jody L. Allen Ph.D. '07 and Sarah E. Thomas '08, M.S. '12, Ph.D. '18.
