The Virginia Coast Reserve (VCR) is a flagship program of The Nature Conservancy. The Conservancy began protecting land (barrier islands, salt marsh, upland forest) on the Eastern Shore of Virginia nearly 50 years ago. Today the VCR continues to protect land as well as engage in marine restoration, shore and water bird management and education and outreach with the local community. Jill Bieri, Director of the VCR will share great stories and amazing photos of this special place.

The seminar is free and open to everyone. Seating capacity is 60 people and space is available on a first come-first serve basis. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. For further information call the Eastern Shore Lab at 757-787-5816.
