Join us for a reception, engaging discussion and tour of the Walt Disney Family Museum, sponsored by the Society of 1918. This contemporary and interactive museum, located in the scenic Presidio of San Francisco, was founded by Walt Disney’s daughter, Diane Disney Miller. It features galleries with state-of-the-art exhibits narrated in Walt’s own voice alongside early drawings, cartoons, films, music, a spectacular model of Disneyland and more. Following a reception, learn about and celebrate the important contributions many women made to Walt Disney’s life and legacy. Disney Storytellers will also share strategies from Walt on supporting female thought leaders. Guests will then have private access to the museum, featuring Storytellers throughout to answer questions and provide more information on the wonderful world of Disney.
