Jeff Lunardi is Executive Director of the Virginia Joint Commission on Health Care with extensive knowledge of mental health policy in Virginia.
Dr. Samudzi will speak about her research on German South West Africa (present-day Namibia), and the Herero and Nama genocide. She will also address current debates about museums, repatriation of remains, and ways of understanding repair and reparations.
Evening discussion with renowned Indigenous author, scholar, surfer, and professor Dina Gilio-Whitaker (Colville Confederated Tribes descendant) about environmental justice in Indian Country and movement toward transformational land ethic.
