If you plan to graduate in May or August 2024, you must apply to graduate using the University Registrar’s online Graduation Application by this deadline. The form closes after February 1, each year. For guidance, see the Graduation Application website.

A&S graduate students may apply to the spring cycle of the Graduate Student Association's Conference Funding program, offering up to $500 toward in-person conference attendance.

Charter Day marks the 331st anniversary of the awarding of the Royal Charter from King William III and Queen Mary II of England establishing William & Mary. Tickets are not required to attend.

Nominate a graduate student for outstanding mentoring of undergraduates in scholarship and research outside of classroom teaching.

Nominate an A&S faculty member for this award that recognizes exemplary mentoring of graduate students.

Join us for the fourth annual Student Diversity & Inclusion Symposium. This year's topic is Embracing Diversity, Fostering Inclusion: Nurturing Holistic Success in Higher Education. Registration is required by 5pm on February 17. Space is limited.

Amina Tawasil of Columbia University will give a lecture discussing the narrative of a young woman in Iran and the interplay of religious conservatism and secularism having a role in self worth and belongingness. 

Registration for Spring 2024 begins January 2, 2024. Tuition and fees will be billed December 11, 2023 and due January 1, 2024.

The Office of Graduate Studies and Research REQUIRES all returning A&S graduate students to register by February 2, 2024.
