The Institute for Integrative Conservation is hosting a student brownbag discussion with Dr. Melissa Checker focused on environmental gentrification and the hidden socioeconomic consequences of sustainable policies.
In this seminar Dennis Hallema will discuss how to properly train a classifier for the purpose of predicting potential fire control locations, and show what a prediction map looks like.
We will engage in design thinking to brainstorm new ways to improve our Spring semester experience as we aim to better understand the different perspectives of the W&M community.
