Join the Charles Center for Academic Excellence and partnering campus organizations for cookies, cider, hot chocolate, and information on Summer 2023 research and internship opportunities!

The career advising workshop will be hosted by Dr. Beverly Sher who will be providing advice for health professions and Medical School plans. Please RSVP by November 7.

Planning to apply for department honors and do a senior thesis? The Charles Center offers up to $4,000 for ten weeks of research the summer before your senior year to give you a strong head start on your project.

Sophomore/Junior Monroe Scholars are eligible to receive $3000 of funding for a 7-week summer research project. Learn how to apply!

Learn how to apply for a $1,000 grant for three weeks of summer research! Applications open October 25th and are due March 6, 2023!

The W&M Tribe Adventure program will be hosting two nights of S'mores and campfires for Monroe Scholars! 

The career advising workshop will be hosted by Mr. Don Snyder. He will provide advice on career planning, getting work experience before graduating, building a network, and CV/Resume/Cover letter suggestions. Please RSVP by November 21st.
