Mandatory A&S New Graduate Student Orientation

ALL new/incoming Arts & Sciences graduate students are required to attend both the New Student Orientation (9:30am-noon) and the afternoon training from noon-1:35 pm (up to the start of the breakout sessions specific to Teaching Assts./Fellows).

        A&S Graduate students are encouraged to apply for support [maximum of $350] from the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR) that will allow them to collect data at museums or archives, conduct research, and travel to field work sites.

                      If you failed to meet the October 1 deadline to apply to graduate in 2019 using the Registrar's Online Graduation Application, you must submit the Notice of Candidacy Form in hard copy to the University Registrar's Office by no later February 15, 2019.

                          Raft Debate - A W&M Tradition

                          The 2019 Raft Debate will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sadler Center's Chesapeake ABC. The event is free and open to the public. The 2019 survivors representing the fate of humanity will be announced in the fall.
