William & Mary alumni bricks will be dedicated to Lynn Briley, Karen Ely, and Janet Brown Strafer as the university honors the three women during the year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of African Americans in Residence at W&M.
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration program pays tribute to the life and impact of Dr. King. This year's remembrance is part of the yearlong celebration of the 50th Anniversary of African Americans at the College.
Ms. Moss is a storyteller, narrator, keynote speaker and author. Her performances encourage pride of heritage, appreciation of cultural differences and recognition of kinship, as well as inspire imagination, motivation, reflection and inquiry.
Opera in Williamsburg will present a melange of scenes from Black operas. This performance is part of the year-long celebration to observe the 50th Anniversary of African Americans in Residence at William & Mary.
