About the author:
Anne Marie Pace '87 is the author of Vampirinia Ballerina, a very popular book that has become a very popular Disney Jr. TV show! Anne Marie has always been a reader and a writer. Naturally, she chose to major in English at William & Mary. After graduating in 1987, she became an English teacher in middle and high school. Five years later after the birth of her first child, Anne Marie decided to become a stay-at-home mom. During this time, she combined her love of writing and reading children’s books, and began to write her own children’s books. Vampirina Ballerina was published in 2012, and in 2017 Disney Junior premiered the animated series “Vampirina” based on Anne Marie's books. In addition to the Vampirina Ballerina series, she has written Busy-Eyed Day, Groundhug Day, Pigloo, A Teacher for Bear, Never Ever Talk to Strangers, and her latest book, Sunny’s Tow Truck Saves the Day.
