Alumni with children are invited to join author Carter Higgins '00 for a reading of her children's book "Bikes for Sale."
The reading will be moderated by Carrie Cooper, dean of university libraries. After the reading, time will be available for questions and discussion from kids (and kids at heart!).
About the author:
Carter Higgins is the author of A Rambler Steals Home and three picture books: This is Not a Valentine, Everything You Need For a Treehouse, and Bikes for Sale. She is an Emmy-winning visual effects and motion graphics artist and spent a decade as an elementary school librarian. She writes about picture books and graphic design at her blog, Design of the Picture Book. You can find her on Twitter and Instagram @carterhiggins.
