Calling all Janeites!
Alumni, parents, family, friends and book lovers are invited to hear from author Sarah Glosson '98, MA '09, Ph.D '15, author of "Performing Jane: A Cultural History of Jane Austen Fandom."
In her book, Glosson examines the long history of Jane Austen fans engaging with her work, from wearing hand-sewn bonnets to writing fanfiction. Glosson will discuss her book and take questions from the audience.
About the author:
Sarah Glosson is the director of the Arts & Sciences Graduate Center at William & Mary. She is a musician and literary and cultural studies scholar. Her book, "Performing Jane," was published by LSU Press in June 2020.
