[PAST EVENT] LatinX - Meet & Greet with the Latina/o Studies Association

July 13, 2018
5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace | 1779 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036

You are cordially invited to join William & Mary LatinX Alumni in connecting with the Latina/o Studies Association (LSA). The LSA is a national learned society whose primary mission is to organize a bi-annual conference for scholars, organizers, culture workers, artists, and social entrepreneurs with expertise on the history, cultures, political and social experiences of Latina/os in the United States.

As the LSA 2018 bi-annual conference will be held in DC this summer, this offers an exciting opportunity for W&M LatinX Alumni to network with conference attendees. Join us in connecting with not only fellow W&M alumni and current students, but also faculty mentors and prominent Latina/o Studies scholar/activists from institutions across the United States.

The reception will take place in the Choate Room at the Carnegie Endowment from 5:30-7:30pm on Friday July 13. Drinks and Latin-American appetizers will be served.
