[PAST EVENT] Orlando - Volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank

Second Harvest Food Bank receives many donations from various sources in the Orlando area. Often, volunteers are needed to help sort donations, check for damages, check expiration dates and repack donations. W&M Orlando is going to volunteer for an afternoon to help on Saturday, September 8 from 1-4 p.m. We're looking for 15 people to serve and help our local community. We hope you can join! 

Please note these requirements from the food bank:

*Physical Requirement: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift boxes. 

*Close-Toed Shoes: All volunteers must wear close-toed shoes for safety. Individuals with open toe shoes will not be able to volunteer.

*Age Requirement: Volunteers have to be at least 10 years old with a chaperone who is 18 years or older in order to help out in our facility, 16 years old without a chaperone.

*Lockers: Volunteers should be advised that there is a limited number of lockers for personal belongings. Where possible, please leave valuable items at home.
