Join us for this lecture by Dr. Erica Warner, a cancer epidemiologist and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Warner will share research insights from studies about how lived experiences, access to care and breast cancer tumor biology contribute to observed racial/ethnic disparities in mortality from breast cancer. Breast cancer disparities in mortality are not inevitable — in fact, there was a time when they didn’t exist. She will discuss how we got here and opportunities for improvement.

Brought to you by the Society of 1918 and the Hulon Willis Association.
