Please join us for an invitation-only reception showcasing William & Mary’s trailblazing work supporting veterans and active-duty members of the United States armed forces. Honor our nation’s veterans, connect with fellow military, veteran and civil service alumni, students, parents, family and friends and experience the National Museum of the U.S. Army.

Our evening will feature remarks from W&M President Katherine A. Rowe, a highlight video of W&M VET’s impact and a distinguished panel of student veterans and alumni.

Prior to the program, the museum’s exhibits will be open from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for attendees. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar will be provided.

Kindly register by Friday, November 4.

About the hosts:

William & Mary lies at the center of a national security hub — from Hampton Roads to Washington, D.C., the region is home to major military commands from all service branches, including nearly 100,000 active-duty and more than 500,000 veteran personnel, the highest concentration on the East Coast.

The Veteran-to-Executive Transition program (VET) supports W&M’s veteran and active-duty students to help those who serve our country transition successfully into the civilian workforce. Along with partners within W&M's schools and units, the W&M VET team includes the Center for Military Transition, Office of Student Veteran Engagement, and Whole of Government Center of Excellence.

The Association of 1775, an affinity group for William & Mary alumni who have previously served or are actively serving across the U.S. government, provides programming, support and resources for our broader community of active-duty service members, civil servants, and veteran alumni and students.
