[PAST EVENT] W&M Richmond - Slave Trail Hike

Join fellow alumni, family and friends for a hike on the Richmond Slave Trail along the south side of the James River. Meet at the Slave Trail parking lot entrance at Ancarrow’s Landing/Manchester Docks (1200 Brander Street). We are planning to hike rain, snow or shine (unless the conditions are too adverse), so plan to come appropriately dressed for the weather conditions and wear good shoes for hiking a packed dirt trail. The hike is along the river and continues on a bridge over the river into the city so it may be windy and chillier than in more protected areas. We will hike about 1.5 miles and turn around to return to our cars. We will not complete the entire trail. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
