Welcome to W&M Esports — the world of organized competitive video gameplay that requires critical thinking, communication and creativity. Join Michele King, W&M professor and director of the esports program, and hear from alumni Marissa Hibbert ’22 (who is also a graduate student at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business) and Alondra Burton ’22, and students Matthew Villca-Rocha ’23,  Paris Bredehoft ’24, Sam Wilson ’24 and Max Simon ’24, about their experience with the program and careers in the gaming industry.

Students have developed leadership skills, published, presented and networked with people in the esports industry, which is estimated to generate revenues of up to $25 billion annually.
