ALUMNI MEDALLION

The Alumni Medallion, the highest and most prestigious award the William & Mary Alumni Association can bestow on a graduate of William & Mary, recognizes individuals who have exemplary accomplishments in their professional life, service to the community, state or nation, and loyalty and commitment to William & Mary. The 2025 recipients are:

ALUMNI CIVIC & HUMANITARIAN LEADERSHIP AWARD

The WMAA Alumni Civic & Humanitarian Leadership Award recognizes alumni who are significantly improving or enhancing the lives of others. Recipients exemplify the university’s values, making a meaningful impact on communities and society and serving the greater good.

The 2025 recipient (posthumous) is Dr. Jim Ledwith ’79.


DOUGLAS N. MORTON ’62 ALUMNI AND YOUNG ALUMNI SERVICE AWARDS

The Douglas N. Morton ’62 Alumni Service Awards recognize alumni and young alumni for exceptional service on behalf of alumni chapters, clubs, constituent organizations or associations, the Alumni Association, and in special instances, William & Mary and its schools.

FACULTY/STAFF SERVICE AWARD

The Faculty Service Award recognizes a member of W&M’s faculty for exemplary service to the W&M Alumni Association.

The 2025 recipient is Anne Humphries Arseneau ’89, M.A.Ed. ’92, director of student leadership development

The Staff Service Award recognizes a member of W&M’s staff for exemplary service to the W&M Alumni Association.

The 2025 recipients are Casey Prats, moving and event services supervisor for facilities management, and Jessica Anton, custodial support for the Alumni House


COACH OF THE YEAR

The Coach of the Year award recognizes exceptional achievement in coaching an intercollegiate varsity sport at W&M.

The 2025 recipient is Jessica Giuggioli, head coach of women’s tennis


The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the Sadler Center, Commonwealth Auditorium with the reception immediately following in the Alumni House, Hunter Hall.

Business attire is recommended.
