[PAST EVENT] Barksdale Treble Chorus: Music from the Margins Concert
Access & Features
- Ticketed event
Barksdale Treble Chorus will host our annual benefit concert, 'Music From The Margins' this spring! This concert aims to raise funds for philanthropic organizations that promote music education through the performing arts. This year's charity will be Education Through Music. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 7-9 pm in the Music Building Recital Hall.
This concert was created to celebrate performances by underrepresented communities to highlight voices that might not have the spotlight. After all, music brings together communities and cultures. We are proud to host performances by William & Mary students of all backgrounds. Building a community of diverse voices through the performing arts is one of Barksdale's core values.
We look forward to sharing our performers and their voices with the William & Mary community. Be sure to come out and show support for the Year of the Arts!
Donations of any amount are accepted and encouraged. Remember, the proceeds go towards funding music education in underserved communities.
Tickets can be purchased online (via Venmo) for $5 or at the door for $7! We'll see you there!
