[PAST EVENT] Pediatric Global Health: Academic Medical Centers Engagement with the World

The global health program, which will explore many of the questions that arise when academic medical centers engage in global health. We will discuss the ethics and responsibility we share for supporting global health. How do academic centers best use their resources to support global health? What can they expect in return?
Many current global health initiatives will be discussed, including successes, failures and lessons learned. The realities of funding challenges, political obstacles and third world realities will be discussed. We will facilitate networking with colleagues with similar interests. The format will include lectures, panel discussions and audience participation. Conference faculty include speakers from Haiti, Italy, and the United States.
