The program runs from June 26th to July 23rd. Students are allowed to take two courses from four that are on offer. Total of 6 credits will transfer to W&M. Three courses are taught by faculty from National University of Galway and come very highly recommended. The fourth will be taught by Government Professor Michael Tierney. The four courses include:

1. Themes in Irish Cinema
2. Introduction to Modern Irish Literature
3. Geological and Environmental Perspectives on the Galway Bay Region (fulfills science GER 2)
4. Irish International Relations and Foreign Policy (can receive credit in Government or IR)

Galway is simply fantastic--it is the cultural heart of Ireland. The music scene is great and the people are very friendly.

There will be two information sessions next week led by Professor Tierney to provide more detailed overview of the program:

Wednesday, November 16th at 5pm in the Reves Room.
Sunday, November 20th at 5pm in Blow 201.
