Swem Library will celebrate its new exhibit chronicling 35 years of Virginia hip hop history on Wednesday, Feb. 4. A reception and gallery talk will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the library's Special Collections Research Center. The exhibit features a variety of hip hop material items, as well as audio stations providing portions of oral histories and Virginia music. We will also have a DJ, light refreshments and a gallery talk at 6 p.m. with Kevin Kosanovich, founder and assistant curator of the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection.

Special Collections will close at 5pm for this event.
