[PAST EVENT] Philosophy Conference Honoring Alan H. Goldman (Kenan Professor Emeritus)

The Department of Philosophy will host an afternoon conference honoring Alan H. Goldman, William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of Humanities and Professor of Philosophy Emeritus, on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Professor Goldman retired from the College of William & Mary in summer 2015, after thirteen years of teaching at the university, preceded by twenty-five years in the Philosophy Department at the University of Miami. He has held visiting positions at the University of Michigan, University of Colorado, and University of Auckland.
The conference will feature four speakers, with commentary from four W&M graduates who are former students of Professor Goldman and now Ph.D. candidates in Philosophy at other institutions. All interested are invited. The program can be found at the conference website.
