The Office of Academic Advising is inviting First Year and Transfer students to schedule a meeting with a Peer Advisor. Peer Advisors play a key role in the successful transition of new students as they adjust to college life. They are visible, active, and invested in the academic and social success of their peers. Peer Advisors are available to discuss topics of shared academic interest with students who want to get a peer's perspective on "what's next" after their first semester. Peer advisors are not counselors or advisors, but they can provide a peer's perspective on their W&M college experience.

Topics for Discussion:
Academic Life
Peer perspective on what it means to be a W&M student
Navigate and connect to appropriate campus resources to meet individual needs
Review the registration process/course selection
Information on courses of study for declared majors/minors
Tips on communicating with Faculty/Professors
Insight on student groups on social connections on campus

Interested? Please fill out a request form by using this link forms.wm.edu/22580 to schedule a direct meeting with a peer advisor.
