The W&M Professional Development Academy will take place January 5-7, 2021. The Academy is a virtual three-day program offered for current students, graduate students and recent alumni. The Academy's goal is to furnish students with the tools needed to maximize professional career development preparation.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with W&M faculty, staff, alumni, and industry professionals on professional development topics, including, but not limited to: personal branding, networking etiquette, interviewing techniques, expectations of new employees, colleague relationship building/management, and working in a virtual landscape. Each day will include a combination of synchronous sessions, personal growth assignments, and small-group discussion. By the end of the three-day series, participants will be able to create your Individualized Professional Development Plan, taking inventory of the new tools gained.
