[PAST EVENT] KPMG Case Competition Kickoff
October 23, 2013
11am - 1pm
Congratulations William & Mary students! Your campus has been chosen to participate in KPMG's International Case Competition (KICC). As one of only 30 universities selected, you'll compete head-to-head against some of the brightest students across the country for the ultimate prize, an all-expenses-paid trip to the International Finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
What It Is:
The KICC promises to be a unique and rewarding experience that will allow you and three friends to showcase your business acumen, network with KPMG professionals, and travel to new and exciting places. The first step of your journey to Sao Paulo is competing against your fellow students to represent William & Mary at the U.S. Regional Competition in Washington D.C. and possibly at the National Finals in New York City. Sound exciting? It gets even better. To simulate the tight deadlines and demands of today's business world, this case competition only requires a 48-hour time commitment. All you need is the case, two days to analyze the issues and make recommendations, and three friends to form your team.
How to Register:
To register your team, complete the registration form (attached) by Tuesday, October 15 at 11:59 PM. Please note that:
Teams must have 4 members (no more, no less). All participants must be intended or declared business majors, with at least 1 intended or declared accounting major.
Undergraduate and Master's-level students are eligible to participate, but some advanced degree candidates (MBA students) are not.
All team members must have a valid passport to be able to compete at the International Finals.
Key Dates:
Tuesday, October 15 Registration Deadline (11:59 PM)
Wednesday, October 23 Case Distribution, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Cohen Career Center
Friday, October 25 Competition Day in the Cohen Career Center beginning at 9:00 AM
