W&M proudly introduces an innovative online workshop designed for fathers and their families. Jeff Hittner '98, has interviewed more than 50 executive dads to uncover the unmet needs of fathers in the family ecosystem - and demonstrate why dads who are clear about their family goals and have the tools to support their families are better for everyone: the dad, the children, the partner, the workplace.
As individuals, a father's identity comes with a profound vulnerability. Societal dialogue around our parenting and personal aspirations is minimal, and meaningful conversations with other dads are rare.
This online workshop will help you define what it means to be a good parent and offer you tools to deepen your connection with your children, even after difficult days, including:
• Ideas for how to build new traditions
• Insight for transitioning from work mode to parent mode
• Strategies to co-parent more effectively with your partner
The primary audience for this workshop is dads, but without question, mothers are encouraged to attend.
