This is an opportunity to learn about the wide range of federal internships and jobs and get practical tips on how to launch a career in federal government. Paid opportunities in government will also be covered.

We are recruiting students of all majors who are interested in pursuing a career in federal service; there is a government career for everyone! This session will guide students through considering, applying and securing federal employment. The presentation will provide tools to research opportunities and practical tips to apply for job opportunities.

Students interested in a paid federal government internship opportunity for and summer 2025 are encouraged to attend, as the session will offer an overview of the Future Leaders in Public Service program: https://gogovernment.org/fellowship/future-leaders-in-public-service-internship-program/

Company description: The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit organization that is building a better government and a stronger democracy.

Preparation for students: Students should think about what careers in the federal government interest them. While this is not required, creating a profile on USAJOBS and looking at the federal resume builder would be helpful. Students might also review the resources available on https://gogovernment.org/ and come prepared with questions.
