 ParentCamp provides opportunities for parents, teachers, administrators and community representatives to come together to share personal expertise, cultural perspectives, strategies to benefit student achievement, and best practices for family engagement.  Why should I attend?  We hope you will serve as an ambassador and share your ParentCamp experience with others. This may include replicating the ParentCamp model in your own community, sharing new  information with your peers, staying connected to new friends met at the ParentCamp, and telling other parents and educators about Vi rginia Department of Education resources.
