Communication Tools & Notification Settings

Hosted by the Center for Online Learning in collaboration with Everspring, the Teaching & Learning in Canvas series provides technical training that advances the quality of the online teaching and learning experience in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business's online programs. Aimed to support the faculty teaching in the Mason School's online programs, these webinars highlight specific tools and features in the learning management system to improve faculty's technical skills in navigating Canvas. Faculty teaching in the School of Education's Online Counseling Programs delivered through Canvas are also invited to attend!

In this session, Kyle Nicholas from Everspring will provide a deep dive into the various communication tools and notification settings available in Canvas, including the nuances of these tools, how to leverage them to their full potential, and the situations in which each one is best suited for communicating with students. He will also set aside time for faculty to share their experiences and ask questions in the allotted time.

Register to receive the Zoom link. This session will be recorded for those who cannot attend.
