Professor Stacy Kern-Scheerer, Director of Clinical Programs; Director, Immigration Clinic; Clinical Professor of Law.
As the founding Director of the Immigration Clinic, Professor Kern-Scheerer trains and supervises Clinic students, representing noncitizens in the greater Hampton Roads community seeking humanitarian forms of relief. She, and the students under her supervision, represent immigrant victims of crime, domestic violence, and human trafficking, as well as immigrants seeking asylum, DACA holders, and individuals applying for naturalization. J. Nicole Medved (W&M Law J.D. ’18)
Professor Medved is an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow at William & Mary Law School’s Immigration Clinic, her alma mater. As a Fellow in the Clinic, Nicole works closely with students in the Clinic to serve immigrants in Hampton Roads, especially those who are survivors of crime, torture, and persecution. Read more.
