Interested in helping students with their writing and communication skills? Apply to work as a paid writing center consultant!
Writing Resources Center consultants are trained peer tutors who work with students in 50-minute consultations on writing and presentation skills. Consultants come from across the disciplines, majoring in Chemistry, Economics, English, Government, Hispanic Studies, History, Kinesiology, Math, Psychology, and more. Strong applicants are those who work well with peers; show initiative and motivation; have a service mindset; and demonstrate ability in written and oral communication. Freshmen and sophomore applicants are given priority, but juniors are also encouraged to apply.
