[PAST EVENT] Second Spring 2017 eLearning Workshop - "Beyond Blackboard"
Are you curious ? or maybe even chomping at the bit ? to explore the "eLearning world" outside of Blackboard? Would you like to see how some of your peers are using eLearning strategies and tools that are not Blackboard-centric? If so, please join us for one of the two April eLearning Workshop sessions.
Blackboard offers many potentially helpful, powerful, and timesaving functions that make it the default eLearning tool for many W&M faculty. However, you also might be interested in engaging and interacting with your students in ways that Blackboard either does not support, or do not match your teaching needs. This eLearning Workshop will showcase ways in which you can complement Blackboard to improve how you provide content, foster collaboration and interaction, and provide adaptable solutions for student engagement. The workshop will feature Paul Kieffaber (Psychology) and Rich Lowry (English) discussing how they have integrated new eLearning tools and strategies in their courses.
