Mosaic Weekend Events

In 2019, W&M graduating seniors adopted a new tradition — Ceremonia Raíces. This event is a heartfelt celebration of the cultural heritage and academic achievements of Hispanic, Latino/a/e and Indigenous/Native American students. During Mosaic Weekend, alumni who may not have attended this ceremony as students will have the opportunity to participate with their family and friends. After processing onstage, participants will stand as a loved one or university representative places a specially designed stole around their shoulders.

After the ceremony, participants are invited to pose for a group photo.

Price: $25. The price covers the cost of your keepsake stole for the ceremony.
