Mosaic Talks are 45-minute sessions that explore William & Mary’s growth and dedication to belonging, as told through the voices of its community members.

In 2020, students from the Asian American Student Initiative, in collaboration with the Center for Student Diversity and the Asian & Pacific Islander American Studies program, established a new tradition — the Khatalampay Ceremony. 

In 2012, W&M graduating seniors adopted a new tradition — the Donning of the Kente Ceremony. This event recognizes the importance of Black and African heritage, culture and community in helping students achieve their aspirations.

In 2019, W&M graduating seniors adopted a new tradition — Ceremonia Raíces. This event is a heartfelt celebration of the cultural heritage and academic achievements of Hispanic, Latino/a/e and Indigenous/Native American students.

Step into style at our Saturday night Sneaker Ball! Dress to impress in your finest attire paired with your favorite sneakers and dance the night away. Enjoy live music and a strolling dinner.

Conclude the inaugural Mosaic Weekend with a buffet-style farewell brunch accompanied by motivational closing remarks!
