Family Orientation Events

Location

When planning your day, please build walking time into your schedule! Parents & Families should plan for at least a 15-minute walk from their parking spot to the doors of Kaplan and/or the School of Education.

Visitor passes are not required during Parent & Family Orientation. On Saturday, you may park in any regular Faculty/Staff, Day Student, or Resident Student space on campus, unless otherwise indicated. Accessible spaces are available throughout campus for those with a state issued license plate or hangtag. Use the interactive Campus Map for parking locations.

Where not to park

• Fire lanes
  
• No Parking zones
  
• "Official Vehicle" spaces
  
• "Service Vehicle" spaces
  
• "Reserved at all times" spaces
  
• Other specially reserved spaces, spaces with names
  
• Accessible spaces (without appropriate documentation)
  
• Any grass/seeded/mulch areas
  

Families are encouraged to park in the following lots:

• Kaplan Arena Lot
  
• Walking time to Kaplan Arena: 3 minutes
  
• Walking time to School of Education: 15 minutes
  
• School of Education
  
• Walking time to Kaplan Arena: 15 minutes
  
• Walking time to School of Education: 3 minutes
  
• Parking Deck
  
• Walking time to Kaplan Arena: 15 minutes
  
• Walking time to School of Education: 30 minutes
