You may pick up pre-ordered gear or purchase Class of 2028 gear and more in Sadler Center 368 (third floor) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Look for the open interior hallway window!
Our friendly staff are here to assist with any questions about orientation. Whether it's navigating campus, understanding the schedule, or learning about resources, we're here to help ensure a smooth start to your family's journey at William & Mary.
Families will check-in as part of the Move-In process. Commuter/Off-Campus Families may check-in at Kaplan Arena on Saturday morning.
Stop by one of six convenient locations to hydrate! Find stations located near Lodge 1, Botetourt, Green & Gold Village, Campus Center, ISC Chalkboard, and the Bryan Complex.
Held in the Main Atrium of the Sadler Center, this is an opportunity for new students and families to visit with local business, non-profit groups, banks, and other service providers.
Choose your own adventure at one of Williamsburg's many dining locations or enjoy a convenient on-campus dining option for lunch by choosing from a selection of local (and mobile) food vendors on the Sadler Terrace!

Lunch for new 1693 Scholars and their families.
International students and families are invited to stop by the Reves Center to meet Reves staff, enjoy light refreshments, and learn about available resources for international students at W&M.
Home and Host W&M St Andrews Joint Degree Programme Students and their supporters are invited to join JDP administrative and support faculty and staff for dinner.
Class of 2028 W&M Scholars and their supporters are invited to join the WMSURE faculty and staff for a shared meal.
At this point in the schedule, students must report for student-only orientation activities. Use this time to rest, relax, reflect on the big day you’ve had and enjoy an evening in Williamsburg!
It is recommended that families say "See you later" to their student by 7:00 pm on the evening of move-in. Student orientation activities begin promptly at 7:30 pm, so make sure your student is back to their hall and ready to begin orientation!
When planning your day, please build walking time into your schedule! You should plan for at least a 15-minute walk from your parking spot to the doors of Kaplan Arena. Click "Full Event Details" below to view more in-depth parking information.
Families who did not check-in on Friday are encouraged to check-in at this time to receive information about the schedule. Please note that commuter/off-campus student check-in will take place from 8-9a.m. in the Sadler Atrium.

New students will be officially be welcomed to the Tribe family by President Rowe, Vice President for Student Affairs Ambler and others.
Take advantage of nearby local Williamsburg restaurants or on-campus retail dining options open during this window of time. Please note: residential dining facilities (Commons and Sadler Dining Halls, Marketplace) are available for students only.
