The first speaker is Matthew Dalbey, Director of EPA's Federal & State Division of the Office of Sustainable Communities. We will be meeting him in EPA's office in the morning before heading up to the DC office for our two afternoon speakers. One of the afternoon speakers will be Katherine Darke-Schmitt (a program alum and TJPPP Board member) who serves as policy advisor to the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Justice Programs in the U.S. Department of Justice and whose career had focused on programs and policies to protect children from exposure to violence, from victimization through physical and sexual abuse, and from commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. The other afternoon speaker is Sean O'Mealia ('09), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Special Assistant to Director Richard Cordray.
