[PAST EVENT] CPR/AED Certification Training
This course teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives. Also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations. Infant & child CPR/AED is covered. Certification is through ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) and is good for two years.
The cost is $15. This can be paid by check made out to William & Mary, or by journal voucher if the employee's department is covering the cost. This payment type is taken at the start of the class. Cash can only be accepted by the Bursar's Office. Email Crystal at cmtaylor02@wm.edu to get a form to pay ahead of time via cash.
Participants will receive a certification card. Class is limited to 10 participants. Register via Cornerstone by searching "CPR/AED" and ensure you choose the April 25th class. Please contact Crystal if class is full or you do not have access to Cornerstone. If it is full, you can be put on the wait list for this class, and/or the early notification for the next CPR/AED class.
