Access & Features
- Open to the public
- Registration/RSVP
The W&M Bray School Lab and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation invite you to join us on August 20, 2024 to join in remembering the 250th anniversary of the passing of Ann Wager, the closing of the Williamsburg Bray School, and the students who attended.
All events are free and open to all members of the public.
We especially invite members of the Descendant Community to participate in the commemoration and to be recognized as we share broadly the history and legacies of the Williamsburg Bray School and the students who studied there.
Between 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM, we invite you to select a commemorative flower at the W&M Bray School Lab (Barrett House, 341 Francis St. W) to place on the Francis Street fence at the Bray School construction site.
At 10:00 AM, we invite you to attend an Archaeology pop-up exhibit at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg
At 11:00 AM, we invite you to join us in Hennage Auditorium at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg for a performance of Good Progress, a two-person performance exploring positions for and against a Bray School education. A panel discussion will follow the performance.
