[PAST EVENT] Music From The Margins
Location
The Music Building Recital HallBarksdale Treble Chorus will host our annual benefit concert, ‘Music From The Margins’ this spring! This concert aims to raise funds for philanthropic organizations that promote music education through the performing arts. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 7pm-9pm in the Music Building Recital Hall.
This concert was created to celebrate music created by marginalized communities to highlight voices that might not have had their chance in the spotlight. After all, music brings together communities and cultures. That being said, we are proud to host performances by all William & Mary students! Building a community through music is one of Barksdale’s core values.
We look forward to sharing our performers and their voices with the William & Mary community. Be sure to come out and show support for the Year of the Arts!
Donations of any amount are accepted and encouraged. Remember, the proceeds go towards funding music education in underserved communities.
Tickets can be purchased online (via Venmo) for $5 or at the door for $7! We’ll see you there!
