Queer Dance Party!
Location
Blow Hall 201Join the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program, Drag & Drop, and the Student Accessibility and Disability Alliance for an evening of desserts, divas, and disco!
In a world that tries to limit our joy, we’re creating a space where pleasure is power, dance is resistance, and community is liberation. Come as you are, dressed in whatever makes you feel divine, decadent, or delightfully yourself.
This event puts into practice the tenets of Pleasure Activism discussed during Dr. Sami Schalk's talk "Studying Pleasure Spaces for Marginalized People" that takes place on April 3rd (you don't need to have attended the talk to attend the dance party, but we encourage you to go)!
