Event time and date: Election Debate on Friday, October 25th at 7pm in Commonwealth Auditorium. The logos of the five other clubs that are participating.

AMP Contemporary and Cultural Issues Committee has teamed up with Young Moderates, College Republicans, Young Democrats, Young Democratic Socialists of America, and the Debate Society to bring you the Election Debate on Friday, October 25th at 7 pm in Commonwealth, Sadler.


There will be an hour long discussion moderated by the Debate Society in which the four other clubs will discuss these 5 topics: political activism, healthcare, foreign intervention, immigration, and welfare.


Followed by a 20 min Q&A from the audience. We encourage you to submit questions beforehand using the link below either regarding the 5 topics or any other topic you are curious about. Afterward, the 5 clubs will be tabling in the Sadler Atrium (lobby) with more information about being politically engaged and their respective clubs. There will be refreshments!


Through this event we hope to spark conversations about the future of our country, regardless of your political leanings. Whether you’re up to date with everything political or get your news from memes, we encourage everyone to come out and learn!
