AMP and CSD are hosting an event titled The Farewell and the Dinner. On the right side of the image is the family from the film's poster.

AMP and the Center for Student Diversity are partnering on a film screening, where audience members will have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful dinner and a movie!

Lulu Wang’s The Farewell is a heartwarming film that premiered this year to acclaim from critics and audiences alike. The film presents Billi, a Chinese-American woman who discovers that her beloved grandmother is dying of terminal cancer. With Billi’s return to China, the film focuses on Billi’s relationships with the rest of her family, alongside an authentic look at the divide between life in China and the US.

Ticket prices are $5 and include dinner catered by Hong Kong Restaurant. We will have non-vegetarian, vegetarian, and vegan options available for audience-members. Tickets will be sold at the Sadler tables one week before the event.
